Request removal of MTE-held data
Data Deletion
Document date: 23 September 2026
You can ask Scarce Infotech Solutions to delete data held by MTE without reconnecting your WhatsApp account.
Submit a request
- Email admin@scarceinfotech.com with the subject MTE data deletion request.
- Include your business name, MTE username, and the WhatsApp Business Account or business phone number concerned, if known. Tell us whether the request concerns a business connection, a particular recipient, or all data associated with your MTE account.
- We will verify your authority over the data before removing it. We may request limited additional information for that purpose.
- We will confirm the outcome and explain any information retained for legal, security or dispute-related reasons.
Never send your password, Meta access token, App Secret, or payment-card details.
What we review for deletion
Depending on the request, this includes locally stored WhatsApp connection details and tokens, received webhook records and related message data, configured account access, and support records. Backup handling and any necessary retention exceptions are included in our review. This release handles these requests through support; it does not offer an automatic deletion-status callback.
Disconnecting and revoking Meta access
The MTE portal’s disconnect action removes its locally stored connection and token. To remove the authorization at Meta, also manage or remove the MTE business integration in your Meta account’s business settings. Disconnecting alone is not a request to erase all historical data; use the email process above for that.
Data outside MTE
MTE cannot delete messages from recipients’ devices or independently held Meta records. Contact the relevant business or Meta for requests concerning their copies. You do not need to delete your WhatsApp Business Account or transfer your phone number to request deletion from MTE.
